Eagle leaves Fox Hunt
and heads south. It travels through the woods, following the edge of its namesake pond before turning south and emerging into an open meadow.
The meadow is often filled with dogs and their owners during the day. At night it's a great place to see deer. The trail continues south through the meadow and intersects with Moore Road
where it crosses the same meadow.
Eagle then passes through a final clump of trees before traversing the side of a small hay field below the Earthen Dam
. This then crosses the small stream at the base of the dam on a rickety bridge before climbing the very steep side of Earthen Dam
. This short section is harder than the Intermediate difficulty, especially if you're descending instead of climbing.
