Description

This fantastic trail climbs up and gently goes up and down around a bench above the Yampa River. Views of the town and ski area abound. The Overlook Trail (a short and easy extension) should not be skipped! On your way back you'll pass through aspen groves and a neat section through small rocky bluffs that kind of feel like a tunnel.

This is suitable for beginners willing to negotiate just a few rocky sections minor hills.

This is one of the better trails at Emerald unless you like ruts and loose gravel.

Very fun flowy singletrack that brings you up to Lupine and Howelson Meadows. There was a few spots that were washed out where we walked around. All in all I think it was a very fun ride on the up and down sides of the ride. Bottom to Bluffs, to Lupine, Lupine to Morning Gloria, and then back down. May 31, 2017
