“A wide, dirt road with partial tree coverage. Flatter in south, steeper in north. Nothing technical.”
— David Gregg
The dirt road climbs only slightly for most of its length. Near the top there are a few climbs that will challenge beginners, but a piece of cake for experienced riders. Enjoy the partial shade and the canyon scenery. Keep eyes out for deer and snakes.
There are a number of trails that split to and from Wood Canyon, but a few of them are hiking only.
No-biking trails: Cave Rock, Wood Creek Trail.
Biking-ok trails: Dripping Cave, Mathis, Coyote Run, Lynx
