A wide, dirt road with partial tree coverage. Flatter in south, steeper in north. Nothing technical.

Description

The dirt road climbs only slightly for most of its length. Near the top there are a few climbs that will challenge beginners, but a piece of cake for experienced riders. Enjoy the partial shade and the canyon scenery. Keep eyes out for deer and snakes.

There are a number of trails that split to and from Wood Canyon, but a few of them are hiking only.

No-biking trails: Cave Rock, Wood Creek Trail.
Biking-ok trails: Dripping Cave, Mathis, Coyote Run, Lynx, Cholla.
