Description

The Bones Trail is a great singletrack alternative to the doubletrack of Lower Raptor. Starting from the south and heading north, the trail is virtually all uphill, but nothing too strenuous. It's a steady 5.8 miles for the entire trail section. It crosses Rusty Bucket, which you can opt for as a cutoff point, but take it to the end and reap the benefits of all the uphill by bombing down Upper Raptor, to Thumper to Lime Kiln for some super fun downhill.

Bones is a pretty fun climb. Loose and rocky but nothing too steep. Intermediate riders should have no problems cleaning everything. 20mi — 2h 30m
