West of the Fern Canyon/Wildhorse junction is CLOSED to bikes heading into the Indian Canyons as it is on Tribal Lands.

Description

Keep your eyes peeled, this trail dots in and out of washes and after a rain it can be confusing without tracks to follow. Wild Horse Trail was recently rerouted due to sand wash. However, the reroute has cut the trail almost in half.

After a good rain, the wash is packed down and ride-able, otherwise it's a hike-a-bike. If the conditions are bone-dry, stick to Cathedral Canyon and New Trail as a more enjoyable alternative.

This trail is a good bailout option if you're spent from a Palm Canyon epic, or you've been impaled by a cactus on HBV and want to get home to your tweezers and pain killers.
