Description

While it's possible to ride this trail as an out and back, it makes far more sense to ride it as part of the Powderface Loop or the Powderface Short Loop. Check those rides for details of the trailheads and intersections.

It's a pretty mellow ride, with some punchy climbs to keep it interesting. Keep a sharp eye out for trees across the trail, at least until you get East of the Prairie Link Trail. The trail runs quite close to the creek, and there are often some very wet sections to contend with. Some sections of this trail have been rebuilt and rerouted over the years; at least 4 major reroutes in the last 20 years. The current version is fast and rolling, not to mention a lot drier than it has been in the past.
