This trail starts out very nicely on smooth red dirt singletrack through Junipers and cacti. It quickly joins with Ridge Trail for a very short section before branching to the right and climbing steadily.

The climb is a challenge with a fairly steep grade, some loose sections, and lots of rocks, like many of the climbs in this area. You'll top out on top of the ridge, with nearly 360 degree views. The final section is a fairly steep, but easily rideable descent down to Old Post Trail.
