A fun, flowy singletrack that skirts the edge of a cliff side, with great views of the mountains.

Description

Again, this trail could technically be considered green/blue beginner/intermediate, but the average rider would consider this intermediate, so I account for the average.

The first part of this out-and-back is steep, but soon it turns into a relatively level, flowing, singletrack with fun little depressions and whoops to jump and play on. Eventually it climbs again then dead-ends on a high plateau with a great view in both directions. The ride down is fun, but keep an eye out and make some noise for the potential oncoming traffic.

Back at Saddle Junction, head downhill and left/east on fern Truck Trail for either El Prieto Trail or Millard Canyon Rd.

Brutal climb up from JPL, but the ride down is quite the reward. The Brown Mountain route here done in reverse as a descent is great, flowy fun. 14mi — 2h 25m

Nice climb, then flowy descent if combined with El Pietro's downhill singletrack. 14mi

Great climb up. A little loose in some parts. Use a bell to warn riders and hikers going up! Saved me on several occasions. Very crowded on weekends. 14.5mi
