Due to the nature of the soil and the ridge top location these trails should be avoided after it has recently rained. This a also a great place to cross country ski in the winter since the Laurel Ridge gets more snow than anywhere else Trails are closed to biking during snow cover. See paccsa.org/lmwebcam for webcam.

Description

This trail consists of 2 sections.

The western half is not formally dedicated as a trail but follows water supply pond service roads and the edge of the ski area parking to connect from the rerouted Locust Trail (snowmobile access to Laurel Mt Ski Area) to the singletrack section east of the parking area. Switchback up off of Locust following grassy doubletrack to the gravel doubletrack along the pond. Follow the wider breast of the dam north to the corner of the ski area parking lot.

Midway along the eastern edge of the parking lot the singletrack, the trail will begin again to continue your gradual climb up to Interstate. The singletrack eastern section is rocky in places.
