Trail shared by John Geronimo

Excellent trail with good obstacles and cruising among the pines.

Features -none-

Typically snowy from November through February. May be closed during the summer months due to fire danger, check with the ranger station for details.

Description

This is a great technical trail, with rock gardens, tight turns, and a number of logs with ramps to ride on. Exceptionally tight switchbacks around the midpoint. The north end has some nice cruising with tight turns among the pines. Most difficult sections have easier bypasses.

As of March 2014, additional two-way (easy) and more advanced one-way sections are being constructed. Signage is being installed to indicate skill ratings. A flow trail extension that connects to Blue Ribbon is being planned. Contact FOO for work dates and join us!

There are a lot of technical features being added to this trail. It's actually becoming a mini-network. There's some pretty cool stuff, but no detailed map yet. So just cruise around! If you want more stuff like this to get built, come to the Sandia Ranger District trail days!! Jun 4, 2014
If you like drops, rollers, log rides, chunk, gnar. You will like Three Bottles. Great area overall to ride. Lots of trails for all levels of riders. Mar 15, 2017
Rode this on Saturday. Started at Pine Flat and followed the trail across 337 then followed Southern Crossing to 3 Bottles which I loved. The technical terrain is amazing! The payoff is the ride back to the car as most of this is down hill with fast turns and an lots of speed. Will ride this again and again until the snow falls. Jul 31, 2017
