The river flood area can be very wet after rains.

Overview

This is a good after work or early morning ride along the river. There are a number of options to ride multiple loops if you want to go for a longer ride.

Description

About one-quarter of a mile in, you drop off the steep bluff, walking trails, into the river flood areas. You'll find good, flat singletrack here that winds among the Bosque and trees. After about three-quarters of a mile, after dropping in, you have to go back to the main trail but there are singletrack trails that hug the cliffs.

This ride is a great way to knock off the cob webs to start a season or, if time is short, after work. You can loop as much as you want to make the course longer. Overall, a very easy but great way to start up a season.
