When Hank's Hideaway hits the Cascade Way ski traverse to Cascade Village, there is an option to finish Hank's Hideaway on the traditional (initially uphill) trail or take Son of Simba more directly to the bottom. The easier option is Son of Simba, which follow more level ground east back through aspen groves. Soon you pop out onto the lower slope of the Simba ski run, head downhill more steeply and finally make a left turn under the gondola line to return via a set of steep switchbacks to Lionshead Village base area.
