This trail starts at the trail sign by the roundabout on San Ildefonso St. and continues south and west along the golf course. At the west side the trail crosses a bridge, then up a concrete staircase and across Diamond drive at a crosswalk. You then climb a short bit along the golf course to rejoin Woodland trail and climb back up to Arizona St. The trail is fairly level, but is made up of mostly volcanic slick rock with a fairly technical edge to it.
