E-Z Rider is the mellow, but extremely fun beginner trail in the Steamboat Bike Park.

Trail now (2025) is best accessed from the Wild Blue Gondola. The trail really starts at the bottom of the Thunderhead ski lift following a gentle line through the woods over a wood trestle with an exciting ramp exit. From there it continues bouncing and rolling until it comes out onto Short Cut road and goes down toward the base area.

From the intersection the route meanders across the bottom of the ski area with some of the best 28 carving bermed turns down to the bottom. The grade is slight and the fun factor is high!
