Description

This is the remains of the original FDR Park road. The southern loop is nearly singletrack and greenery filled in along the edges leaving a path through. The northern loop and the road leaving the parking area is gravel. This is still used by the city for access, but very rarely used.

Many trails are headed off of the road at one point or another. This trail will get you to nearly all trails and also makes a good way to find your way back to the parking area.

Maint Trail creek crossing. Water flowing under the road becomes 6-12" of water on the road in heavy rains. Very low flow, so the danger is always at a minimum.
