Description

This trail connects the two parking lots of Elk Meadow Park as it winds through ponderosa pines and provides great views of the meadow. It leads from the lower parking lot to Meadow View Trail from which all other trails can be accessed.

Note: If headed up the trail towards Meadow View Trail en route to Bergen Peak Trail, there is a cutoff, Elk Ridge Trail. That trail is a much more technical climb so I would not advise taking it though it appears shorter on a map.
