Description

Most people use this if they need a quick way down after climbing the Helipad Trail. The trail has some steep sections (20% grade) on large, loose, rocks, lined with sharp, exposed rock offering a significant penalty for failure. If you can handle the first rocky descent near the top, you're probably fine on the rest of the trail, as it doesn't get much worse (or better, depending on your point of view) the rest of the way down.

If you think this trail is the best part of your Desert Classic ride then you should probably be riding National/Alta/Holbert/etc. and leave Desert Classic for the adrenaline-challenged weekend warriors.

Stay to the right most of the way down. Better like there. Lots of drops and rocks. Very tough, almost went over the handlebars 0.3mi
