Description

Near the bottom, Northern Boundary is a wide gravel road with large water turn-outs which make great jumps when you're heading downhill. Higher up, as it approaches Ingles Field Gap, the road narrows into doubletrack and even singletrack. Beyond Ingles Field Gap, the trail is singletrack on the old roadbed, but it is extremely overgrown with thorns, vines, and poison ivy.

As Northern Boundary ascends over 1000 feet, it connects with Ingles Field Gap and Little Hickory Top at Five Points and concludes 0.5 mile after Green's Lick at Yellow Gap.
