A paved bike path connecting Snowmass to Intercept Lot at Highway 82.

Mike Pritchard

E-Bikes Unknown

Features -none-

The northern portion of this bike path, between Rodeo Lot and Intercept Lot, is closed for the winter season, Dec. 1st through March 31st.

Description

When ridden in the downhill direction, this path begins at the back of parking lot 4 near the Snowmass Village Mall. The trail crosses Wood Road and Faraway Road. Near the fire station, there is a short but steep drop down to Owl Creek Rd. After crossing Owl Creek Rd., keep to your left, crossing a bridge over the creek. The trail continues around the golf course, and continues paralleling Brush Creek Rd. all the way to the Intercept Lot at Highway 82.

You can use portions of this paved path to create loop rides within Snowmass, linking Rim Trail or Highline/Lowline plus Tom Blake trails, especially if parking at the Rodeo Lot located next to the Snowmass Village Recreation Center.

There are many spurs along this path that link to the Village Market area, Rim Trail, and Snowmass Club that might be useful depending on where you are staying, or where you are parked.
