A nice cruise with a bit of climbing and a bit of descending through intact forest.

Description

It's worth noting that Hobbit 3 is one of the few trails in the West Mag area that haven't been clearcut as part of the giant 2012 deforestation/fuels cleanup project.

It's generally an intermediate trail, though it has one climb that is quite steep and somewhat loose. It's tough enough to challenge most riders with a high heart rate, although it's not particularly technically challenging.

This trail is now currently best ridden from north to south direction.
