Overview

This is one of the most enjoyable rides I have found in this area! Take in great views of the mountains all around as you ride through narrow singletrack that feels like it was made to be ridden.

Description

A moderate climb up in to the mountains will yield an extended descent through a vast maze of singletrack that rides like you are on a rollercoaster. Watch out for the occasional rock garden and/or loose rock sections. The trail branches multiple times throughout the ride so keep your location in mind to avoid getting lost. There are no trail maps at the parking area and the trails aren't very well marked. There is an occasional signpost with minimal information at best. About 3/4 of the way through there is a considerably steep section when the trail converges with a ATV section up a hill that most will need to "hike a bike".

The terrain is typical desert consisting of a lot of scrub brushes and cactus. Make sure you carry supplies to deal with a punctured tire.

There is a parking area next to the main dirt road leading in to the area.
