Description

Copperhead Ridge, named for the numerous copperhead snakes in the area, extends off the main loop, Ranger, on the east side of Prayer Mtn. with multiple access points to the adjacent neighborhood. A quick down and "S" around a creek and up you go climbing along the tree line with both loose rock and dirt sections.

A series of up and down switchbacks follows, then a ridge climb back to the top. At the top, Copperhead continues along the neighborhood border before descending back down to the creek. Copperhead is not know for its flat pedaling sections and following every short downhill a climbing payback begins.

Part of the Big Cedar Wilderness Trails.
