This is where you have the option to continue up to the overlook (recommended!). If you choose not to go on up, you'll begin to descend in front of where you see the "1377 elev" sign in this picture.
Entrance to the trail. Hang a right after this sign to get on the East Loop. It'll be bidirectional for 200-300 feet, then it will split again.
