The section of trail is really close to the highway if you need to bail due to mechanical issues, etc.
Every creek crossing is filled with wildlife; I've scared up many deer, turkey and quail on this ride.

Every creek crossing is filled with wildlife; I've scared up many deer, turkey and quail on this ride.
The tread gets pretty soft here for a mile or so, the fine pack gives way to larger balast rocks...doesn't look like there's much traffic through here. I moved three downed limbs off the trail through here.
I've seen this section of trail from I-335 for years, it's fun to see it from the other side!
