This is a great path, a perfect opportunity to take the kids and teach them to ride away from traffic. When they get confident with their skills, you can drop down into the woods on the trail!
This is a great ride through the woods along the Arkansas River!

I scared up probably seven deer and they used the trail as a super highway.
This is a great ride through the woods along the Arkansas River!
Some of the north trail is sandy, but nothing unridable.
Help burn in the trail; get down there and ride this!
I found maybe four 20ft sections of sandy trail along the north loop.
View of the Arkansas River along the trail. Surprisingly, there's little sand along this trail.
Some interesting trees along the way.
