“Maple Lake East linking to Hickory smoked. GREAT technique and cornering building trail. On this trail I am limited by how good I can take the corners (ride with caution as always). The whooping you hear is so I do not surprise other bikers.”

A quick video of the descent from the parking lot to the beginning of Hickory Smoked.
The Mountain Bike Staging Area for the Palos trail system is at the Maple Lake East picnic grove parking lot on 95th St., just west of Flavin/Willow Springs Rd. The entrance to the Cemetery Hill Connector is across the street from the parking lot.
