There's some interesting places to ride around Taos! Riding around Arroyo Hondo the other day I came across this sculpture that seems to pay homage to mountain biking's roots; rigid steel frames, beer, and fun! This was right by a road so I'm guessing an avid rider and artist lives nearby.

Along the West Rim Trail there's lots of side trails that lead to awesome views of the Rio Grande Gorge and Taos Range, and a few of the sparse trees to cool down in the shade on a hot day
