Description

From the parking area at the bottom of Schultz Pass Road, this trail heads up the valley bottom. It's a steady moderate climb up along Schultz Creek (which flows in the spring) through pines, aspen and Douglas fir. On the way down take advantage of the berms and keep an eye out for opportunities to get a little air. This trail flows nicely and has some playful features to exploit.

Schultz Creek is extremely popular with hikers, bikers and dog walkers, so be ready for encounters unless you are riding off-hours. Also note that you could choose to climb Schultz Pass Road instead of this trail for an easier alternative. Multiple connectors make it so that pretty much all the same loops are possible using the road instead of the trail.
