Need to Know

Lots of parking at the start. You can continue past the end and go down to Twin Lakes and Interlaken, but it is steep, ~12% grade.

Description

Nice easy stretch through pleasant open woods and aspens. There are gorgeous views. This is part of the Colorado Trail. The recovering burn area is neat with many small aspen groves. The track can be narrow in spots. There are very few rocks. This would be a fully green trail if it were not narrow in spots and occasional 5-7% grade.
