Need to Know

The south end of the trail is reached by riding a short section of the Metolius‑Windigo Trail, starting about 1.3 miles down NF‑1514 from Three Creeks Lake Road. The North end of the trail is located at the Whychus Creek Overlook Trailhead parking lot.

Description

The Peterson Ridge Tie trail links the Metolius-Windigo with the Peterson Ridge Trail system, starting with a quick, shaded descent through a narrow forested canyon dotted with optional features for some extra fun. Around the one mile mark the trail climbs briefly out of the canyon before a smooth, winding cruise through open pine forest, finishing at the Whychus Creek Overlook Trailhead parking lot.
