Need to Know

The trail can be accessed from the Peavine Trail 0.25 miles to the west (trailhead 1 mile north on the Peavine) or by riding in from the neighborhood. No specific parking is located at the start of the trail.

Description

The trail starts at the intersection of Granite Dells Parkway and Iron Stone Way. A pair of short, steep switchbacks lead up onto the south side of the ridgeline. After 0.25 miles, the trail splits into the loop.

The loop may be ridden either direction. Once on the loop, the trail is not steep. The trail is narrow, but not difficult or rocky. There are views of the surrounding (rapidly developing) neighborhood.

There are several trail junctions for side trails down into the neighborhood. The trail may be accessed by riding in on any of these. There are signs with maps at each junction, so it is difficult to get lost.
