A challenging climb to high altitude on a relatively well groomed rescue road for Day One of the K2N.
The 2018 K2N MTB Stage Race consisted of an up and down via this rescue road (1st of 4 days in the stage race), and the 2019 version of the same race will likely consist of this climb, followed by a singletrack downhill return.
