This stretch of the North Umpqua is an excellent year-round trail for many user groups. It heads by alder-covered gravel bars before climbing to rocky bluffs away from the river.

Easier than calf section, a few downed trees and loose sections, but in better condition than other sections of this trail. Recommend going downriver.
