Overview

This series of loops uses part of the trail network at Harriman around Silver Lake and Henry's Fork. The trails are fairly flat and can be combined in various ways for all abilities and ages.

Need to Know

Idaho State Park so parking fees or a state parks pass is needed.

Description

The first part of this ride starts on the John Muir ADA Trail then cuts off along the river on the River Trail toward the Ranch Loop. Take the Ranch Loop to the Thurmon Creek Loop, which connects to the Silver Lake Trail.

Here, you can either go clockwise or counterclockwise, then return back the way you came. It's mostly singletrack with a little two track mixed in.

Keep your eyes open for wildlife and for the trail markers along the way and you should be able to navigate this trail system with no problems. There are many other options in the area, this is just what I feel to be the best ride for your time.

Fun little area. Couple additional trails missing from this map - one that follows a ridge up to a nice lookout - maps at guest center or trailforks. 11.5mi
