Cross a river on a motorcycle and bicycle-only bridge, down an unpaved road, and onto singletrack. Follow the irrigation ditch and small sugar cane plantation, finally ascending and descending a hill, before heading back onto an unpaved road to the starting point.

Need to carry bike across a small, three- to four-foot wide, one-foot deep, irrigation ditch, which sometimes has water. Not complicated at all. Wear glasses, as sometimes sugar cane leaves may lean over the trail. Beware of tree branches growing over and across trail (need to duck).

Start at Cieneguilla, go across a river on the bike bridge and head down the unpaved road. Turn left, ascending towards Pampa de Flores pre-Columbian archeological site (pace your climb, as it is not very steep, but rather long), and onto Acequias Trail, to the right.

The singletrack ascends mildly, as it follows a couple of feet deep, four-foot wide, irrigation ditches (to the left) and Pachacamac countryside (to the right). As the trail progresses, you cross small sugarcane fields (be careful not to fall into the ditch, as uncut sugar cane plants can sometimes lean over the track). Also, beware some tree branches grow over and across the trail, so be sure to duck your head or lower your seat post.

The trail features a couple of very short and not too steep climbs (and descents) to two viewpoints of the Pachacamac countyside, before continuing across the hillside, to the left, onto Mal Paso trail. You have to carry your bike across the irrigation ditch (one foot deep at this point), before proceeding onto Mal Paso Trail. As the irrigation ditch is not very wide, and there are rocks to step on, you can avoid getting wet while crossing, if careful or assisted by a friend.

Mal Paso Trail ascends some more, before descending back to the same unpaved road, leading back to Cieneguilla.
