Description

Gribble Gap Loop is a fun trail on the western edge of the WCU trail network. There are a few small elements on the trail that ride better in the clockwise direction. There is a fun but challenging switchback climb at the top that makes traveling counter-clockwise enjoyable - counter-clockwise is easier for kids if you walk that short top stretch. From the intersection with the Little Savannah Connector, head up a moderate climb, followed by a solid descent, then concluded with another climb to return (or split off on Corkscrew).

This loop is shorter, less-committing, and easier than the other loop for beginners and kids to learn how to ride a mountain bike!

This trail is multi-directional - there is no recommended direction, so look for other riders, hikers, and runners, and yield to anybody who is climbing!
