Overview

This route is a challenging climb to the top of McBee Road, rewarded with a panoramic view of the Horse Heaven Hills, and a fun, fast singletrack downhill on the McBee Grade Trail that will get the adrenaline flowing.

Description

From the trailhead parking area, climb McBee Road for 1.9 miles to the top. Veer southwest onto the McBee Ridge Trail and follow the doubletrack along the ridge for about 1.5 miles. Take in the view while you're enjoying the non-technical riding.

After trekking/riding along the summit for roughly 1.5 miles, the McBee Grade Trail will become apparent as it heads down the face of the mountain. Follow this singletrack all the way back to the trailhead.

Rider beware: the downhill grade on the East side of the hill is very deep, rutted, and sandy. The combination makes for an unpleasant ride. — 1h 00m
