“Main trail through the northeast section of the forest, featuring some great downhill, a mad climb, and creek crossings.
”
This route is a flowing trail starting off downhill followed by a couple ups and downs, then a long downhill to West Middlebury Rd. From there, follow the road west for a few hundred feet to the well-marked entrance to an extremely steep uphill portion through the pines.
After that comes a well deserved downhill to the creek, followed by a few creek crossings, and another uphill towards Bank Rd. Near the top, just before bank road, are some of the most beautiful and flowing singletrack trails you could ask for.
This one is best ridden clockwise in my opinion, but can be great ridden in either direction.
Moderately steep. Uneven terrain with small rocks or roots.
