An easy and safe singletrack maintained by Falls Area SingleTrack that is within 10 yards of the Sioux Falls Bike Trail.
This is a directional trail. Stay right and follow signage. River flooding can cause closures.
Description
Access the trail from the trailhead at the Minnesota Avenue parking lot or from the west access point at the western edge of the trail near the middle of of the paved bike trail in Yankton Trail Park. A split rail fence controls access.
The trail is mainly dirt singletrack with a few fun features including a skinny balance log, log roll, ladder bridge, and a log bridge.
There are good views of the Big Sioux River and you may see a deer or two along the way.
Moderately steep. Uneven terrain with small rocks or roots.
Sizable rocks & roots. Steep sections.
Steep. Some technical terrain and limited alternate lines.
Very steep. Technical terrain with no alternate lines.
