Alders connects from Big Rose to Service Road 1700 and can be ridden in either direction.

From the south, exit the wide corridor of Big Rose and follow the Alders Trail into the trees... which are distinctly not alders at this point. The singletrack starts with a little weaving before it settles in for longer, straight stretches.

Just before the trail does reach the grove of alders, it enters a section of brief trail braiding. It's over quickly, and you can use it as an opportunity to make spontaneous line choices.

Keep an eye-out for a few squeezes where trees grow close to the trail, otherwise, it's a straightforward pedal to the road.
