Description

The northern portion of this trail can be accessed from the end of Brush Creek Road, which you'll turn onto from Warren Wagon Road. Though the trail is quite long, it's only recommended that the last 3-4 miles be taken, as points north of that are often quite rugged, unmaintained, and not much fun to tackle on a bike. Intrepid adventurers might enjoy checking out this extent of the trail, but most will want to access the part of the trail that is encompassed in the Blackwell Lake Loop ride.

This description covers the trail that is a part of the Blackwell Lake Loop. Heading north on Eastside Dr. 1/4 mile from the Lick Creek Rd intersection will be a right-hand turn with a well visible sign denoting the Crestline Trailhead. 1.8 miles up the road, you'll find the parking lot. It's recommended that riders use the Fall Creek Trail #107 to access Blackwell Lake and the beginning of the described route. It is not suggested that riders climb on the Crestline Trail as it is steep and will require walking sections.

This is a smooth doubletrack trail with some punchy climbing for the first two miles as riders make their way out of the lake basin and to a small summit. From the summit, it is fast, smooth trail. Use some caution as the tread is somewhat chewed up from ATV use. The climbing is over, though and there will be much fun descending ahead. At various intersections stay to the right to continue your flowing route back to the parking lot.

Trail thankfully cleared of deadfall. A lot of rocks, incised pedal-smacking, and push-a-biking but spectacular terrain. 16mi
