This is a newer addition to the short Friendly Fair Trail (short loop). It makes the total trail roughly three miles and is a great warm-up for the lakeside of the road trails that can be more challenging.

Instead of staying left at the peak of the Friendly Fair Trail (short loop) stay right and follow the short switchbacks into the wash bottom. The climb out from there is a good heart pumper, but nothing difficult.

The remaining section of the trail is nice flowing singletrack that is pretty well groomed and gets quite a bit of riding. There are some fast sections especially by the dog park. Overall, a nice three mile loop that has a little climbing, switchbacks, small rock areas and sandy washes.
