This trail is best ridden north to south. Access the north end of the trail from Service Road 1800. From north to south, this trail is mainly a slight descent. You can fly down this trail, just watch for the sharp turn right at the end before you reach Service Road 2100.
One of the main parking areas for the Port Gamble trail system is the Stottlemeyer Trailhead. The main access to the trails from that parking area is Service Road 2100. Typically riders bike up the Service Road 2100 and turn right onto Valley Trail (first trail on right) to access the trail system. Then riders return back to the Stottlemeyer Trailhead via Ridgeline and Service Road 2100 or via Hyper Space.
Overall, avoid going north to south on Valley Trail (because it is usually ridden south to north) and avoid going south to north on Ridgeline (because it is usually ridden north to south).
