Overview

The mission of the Eden Epic is to provide a top quality and challenging mountain bike race that focuses more on the adventure than the fastest time. It will have excellent logistics and flow. The amazing views of course and the challenge will draw mountain bikers from around the country and world to beautiful Eden, Utah to enjoy the amazing ridgeline singletrack for their next great adventure.

Description

The Eden Epic course starts out with a 4.3 mile grind up the Avon Liberty Pass, which generally is a nice dirt road with an amazing backdrop off the Ben Lomond Circ. At 4.3 miles, there is an ATV trailhead on the north side of the road. Yes, it is an ATV trail, but it is not ridden much and is a beautiful trail with tree cover and pods and stunning views of Ogden Valley and Cache Valley.

After about 9.33 miles, the ATV trail connects to Willard Basin Road. Then you have a good grind of about 7 miles until you hit the singletrack. Yes, it is a good grind up a dirt road, but it is beautiful.

Once you hit the singletrack... oh boy you are in for a treat! The Skyline Trail is followed all the way to Windsurfers Beach at Pineview Reservoir.

Once you hit the beach, you'll follow the Pineview Trail and the North Arm Trail to get you to Eden Park where, if you ride it on October 8th 2016, the finish line will be.
