This trail is located on private property with permission. Please respect this private property by staying on the marked trail.

Description

Mill Creek Road dead ends into a gravel parking lot. The lot is posted as private property but the public right of way continues through the lot. The entrance to the trail is in a grassy area just beyond the parking lot. There isn't any public parking at this trailhead.

From this end, the trail begins a gentle climb through some pines along I-77. After crossing the ridge, the trail descends and rolls along natural contours on the hillside. Near the bottom of the hill, the trail passes several small waterfalls before crossing the creek and intersecting Lost Valley Lane. Lost Valley Lane is a unmaintained dirt road that connects between a couple of trailheads and provides access to SR 821.
