Mountain bikers love Mountwood Park's singletrack. This trail is a good example of why.

Description

The Copperhead Trail leads out of the marina parking lot area to all the stacked loop possibilities north of Volcano Rd. It is essentially a loop, itself, that if ridden clockwise, is a gradual, sinuous climb that finally descends onto the western terminus of the Trip to the Moon trail. In the opposite direction, it returns riders to their vehicles at the marina parking lot via a rocket-fast downhill. It's a great way to wrap up any counter-clockwise circuit of Mountwood Park.
