Description

If you need a singletrack break while driving I-10, this trail might do it.

It's difficult to follow this lightly-travelled trail through the very arid desert but there are large marker signs every few hundred feet to help keep you on track.

This is a pretty sad section of the CDT. Like Lordsburg, it is forgotten and neglected. The trail may get better at higher elevations to the south.

If you take the dirt road just north of the trailhead, there are informal camp spots on BLM land.
