Start from "Confusion Corner" and head down the connector and take a hard left. Climb up and out of the hollow and enjoy about 1.5 miles of doubletrack with a great wooded scenery. Once to the intersection, follow the Lance's Trail signs. At this point, it is all singletrack with some rocks. Towards the end, you'll descend quickly so be sure to watch for the ruts and rocks. Just as the trail starts to flatten out, hang a hard right and climb back out of the hollow. There will be one more small downhill section followed by a steep climb to get back to "Confusion Corner."
