Family Friendly Easy pedaling, mild grade, and almost no obstacles. The full length of the out-and-back may be too long for some young riders.

Description

A gentle out-and-back trail that runs beneath Stewart Mountain along the shore of Lake Whatcom. A few bridges, waterfalls, and one giant downed tree supplement the constant views of the lake. At around 3.2 miles, the doubletrack concludes against fenced off private property. Simply retrace your way back to the trailhead.

This trail is also sometimes referred to as the "North Lake Whatcom Trail."
