Family Friendly The tunnels are great! Take a lunch and have a picnic by the river near the Othello Park entrance. It is a great way to expose your family and friends to the joys of mountain biking!

Description

This is the closest section of the KVR to the Metro Vancouver Area. You can hit the trail from any direction. It takes you through the historic Othello Tunnels and trestles that used to be used for trains going to Hope. The ride itself is great for a family as it is no more than a 2% grade. It follows a beautiful river surrounded by trees and mountains.

Recommend starting from the point closest to Hope.
